How long does the tuning process take?

For most vehicles, our base calibrations take 20–30 minutes. Supercharged or fully custom calibrations can take 1–2 hours, depending on your vehicle’s modifications.

Will the tune void my warranty?

Like any aftermarket modification, a tune could potentially void your warranty if a dealer can prove it directly caused an issue. However, with thousands of vehicles tuned nationwide using OTT, there have been no reported warranty issues.

Thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, your factory warranty cannot be voided simply because of a tune — a dealer would need to show that the tune caused a specific problem.

Can a dealer detect the tune?

Your vehicle’s ECU ID remains stock, but the CVN number will reflect the modification. Your vehicle will otherwise function normally, and all dealership diagnostics will still work.

Can I revert to the stock tune?

Yes! It’s a simple process to flash the stock calibration back on your vehicle if needed.

Will the tune fix my speedometer if I have larger tires?

No, unfortunately, the tune does not calibrate the speedometer. You will need a separate speedometer calibrator to adjust your readings.

Can my vehicle be tuned if the catalytic converters are removed or there is a CEL?

All emissions components must be intact, and any Check Engine Lights (CEL) must be resolved before tuning.
